Acid Wash (Etchcrete 20%) Is an acid cleaner to be used to remove cementitious residue from concrete and masonry
surfaces.
ETCHCRETE is ideal for the cleaning of exposed aggregate surfaces before
applying surface sealers. ETCHCRETE can be diluted up to a maximum ratio of 1 part acid to 3 parts water.
Concentration required depends on the extent of cleaning to be done. Apply material to the working surface at a rate of 200-300 sq.ft. per gallon. Allow it to react for about five minutes.
Brushing the surface will aid the cleaning process. Once the surface is clean, it should be rinsed thoroughly to remove the remaining acid.
